Satellite Galleries
The Satellite Gallery Program is one of the many ways Golden Prairie Arts Council serves to elevate rural art and culture. Artwork is introduced to a new audience in each location. Artists and their work receive additional exposure, as well as spaces are beautified with local art. Since it began June 2016, this program is a very successful and a beneficial addition to the community.
Currently, GPAC has four Satellite Gallery locations. This includes the Roland General Store, as well as Carman’s MMJS Law Offices , Newman Hand Insurance, and Royal LePage. Each collection of artwork is displayed at each location for a period of four months before rotating, so new audiences can enjoy the artwork.
Take a tour around town to see a wealth of local art on display in four thriving businesses. Read below to find out more about each mini collection and the artist who created it.
