Through my experience in life, I have found being a visual artist a blessing and an opportunity to leave my mark on the world today through the art I create. I can express while transforming on canvas my vision, emotions, spirituality, and life experiences like historical travel establishing possibilities from history to the present.

The viewer then can interpret my umbrella of representational or abstract art. I convey freedom of spirit, a lyrical expression in different styles, architectural design, and a very intimate imagination. With spontaneous splashes of paint, I express form, movement, composition, and details established through the motion of my art brushes upon the canvas.

My artistic journey and medium preference started with using oils on a larger canvas in my early years. Today, I have provided myself with continuous education in art workshops by using acrylics, watercolors, multimedia, and colored pastels empowering me to create and provide numerous styles of landscapes, portraits, figures, and many other forms of art.

After Thirty-plus years I’m fascinated by the opportunities of exhibitions while collaborating with my travels in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Thus, opportunities in art workshops, art presentations, art instruction in groups, individual consulting in group exhibits, and solo exhibits have developed and increased my love of art.

WHY A WORKSHOP?

Whether you've been a songwriter for many years, or have never written a song, (and don't even know if you want to!) -  Songwriting has a great deal to offer everybody, with tools for  processing our selves and the world around us, to find our inner voice, find out what it is we want to (or need to) say,  and to find a way to express ourselves!

For several years, Orit has offered a class she calls "Chiseling the Truth" -  Where she shares the tips and secrets she has honed for years as a songwriter to help us get to the core of our expression.

Offered in group settings or in one-on-one mentoring sessions, or both! -  (one on ones can also be done over Zoom) - Whether you're half-way through writing something and want some guidance or have no idea where to even begin, Orit's experience as a teacher and educator make her a sensitive and caring instructor that brings joy and humour to the process as well as safe, emotional support to one's process of uncovering their inner sentiments.
